Rape isn't fucking casual sex. Casual sex is a recreational activity between two consenting adults. Rape is the most personal form of violent assault humans have ever devised.

I'm not sure I've been this angry since I read that thread a couple of years ago (you can tell, it sort of stuck in my mind - I still struggle to believe you're seriously defending it). It's the worst crime against the person in the world... I'd even argue it's more damaging than murder due to the torture it causes for years/decades afterward.

Perhaps one day it'll happen to you... you won't be dolled up, you won't be stripping, you won't even have just enjoyed yourself on a one-night-stand... you'll just be minding your own business in a quiet area, perhaps coming home from a night out, when a man or group of men overpower you, beat you to the ground, rip your clothes and underwear off with such force they leave lifelong SCARS and force you to do their bidding in whatever manner they choose for as long as they consider appropriate. They might finish up by washing your genitals in acid to make sure their DNA isn't left behind. Then they'll leave you for dead; bruised, bleeding, exposed and sobbing... you'll play dead for an hour or so and then drag yourself, still exposed, to the nearest place you might be able to get help.

Perhaps then you might realise the difference between casual sex and rape... and you'll realise how important the distinction is for the successful emancipation of your own gender.

..so I should be comfortable going around strangers late at night with very little clothing on..

..that would be my emancipation act?

or would that be dangerous?

As a free woman living in society, you should be able to go around exactly as you please and not expect to be raped.

It's perfectly fine to be asexual and not want to dress attractively or show off your "assets", but it doesn't give you the right to say those that are sexual (a perfectly natural instinct - after all, we're all here) are immoral or "asking for it". If guys can walk around in muscle tees or wear speedos at the beach then girls can walk around in bikini tops. Nobody should be getting raped.

They're just being human. If anything, you're the one with the personality disorder. 13 years?!

I'm with magma on this one. Big time.

We've gone over this a few times. You laughed.

I did laugh...

I laughed at the fact that of all people in the world..Molly was surprized.

...surprized by unsolicited unwanted dick.

She is usually the one doing that..

Surprised by rape. Whatever next?

I mean, yeah, you're right... there's totally a point where you should just expect someone to ruin your life because you like having sex. I get it now.

I like taking pills, but this doesn't give anyone the right to spike my drink. There is never a moment when you relinquish the right to govern your own life. It should always be a fucking surprise if someone puts their dick in you when you've told them not to.

Gotcha, you feel you're being stamped down by the attractive and sexually liberated women? Rape is to be expected and, fortunately, acts as a handy social balance, destroying some attractive women so that they're no longer in the game because they're sat at home on Prozac? You don't support it, but you don't worry that much about it either?

Makes sense, but it's still pretty nasty way of thinking. How about next time someone gets raped, you actually think about what that experience might have actually been like and then have a quick think about whether it should still be so accepted by our endemically chauvinist society that a female can LAUGH when they hear about another female's life being destroyed?

Edit: This was in response to your comment about the high-heels of the glamourpusses on the backs of less-sexual women, which you seem to have decided against.

I realized it was the image from the video in my head - so I replaced it with the source.

Yea - I don't like that certain women are using their positions because they do.

I still do not condone rape and think that it is horrible...especially the violent ones..
but still can't get it through you head..

Well because you wouldn't really be arguing the correct thing...if you removed rape as the issue.

What do you want me to change...I'm saying it

I don't like - advocate for - or condone rape - I think it's awful.

there are other things though...other problems in this that aren't being addressed.

It's essentially what you said before you replaced the words with a video that I can't see.

I haven't accused you of supporting rape, so don't get bogged down in that... I'm astounded that anyone can defend a reaction of LAUGHTER when they hear of a rape, no matter what the circumstances. That someone should expect rape or that someone could deserve it or "have it coming" for simply for liking sex, dressing provocatively and having a different attitude towards it than you, that your friend shouldn't have been surprised when she was forced to have sex with a man she didn't choose... because, well, she'd chosen so many before, what difference does another dick make?

That was offensive enough for me to remember it for years. I'm not trying to make it worse by saying you think rape is a good thing. The attitude (which is fairly common) that some types of female behaviour naturally lead to rape needs challenging at every opportunity. Rape shouldn't EVER happen, no matter how women carry themselves and reacting to it in any other way perpetuates your gender's slavery.

rape is wrong - got that

Why do you think that provacative shouldn't be understood as provacative.

SlutWalk - raises awareness - combats generational bigotry.

I just hope that girls don't get the wrong idea and think they can just go grocery shopping
in bad areas - late at night - alone - in provacative clothing.

But they should be able to, which seems to be the point you are choosing to miss (purposefully) over and over again. Perhaps to satisfy some sort of inner daemon.
There's a difference between poor decision making made by (often a very uninhibited) women in terms of where she is and how she is dressed with regards to these risks and where the blame lies, which is always, always the perpetrator.

This is NOT a case of someone being hoisted by their own petard, which is how you are making it seem.
