I just got an e-mail from Red Eye saying they only received 50 copies of their 300 ordered - so no copy for me despite the pre-order

Wow what a bust. Poor Redeye to have this of all things be the first pre-order they can't fulfill. I've been waiting a month and a half for Des Bisous to ship with this release. It's sold out on Redeye but I hope they kept my copy saved. Still ordered Ellipsis from Honest Jon's but...eh. :/

I havent recieved a email saying that im not getting one, but havent got a email saying its being dispacted, hopefully they lettuce know very shortly cause ill have to buy it elsewhere before it sells out.

redeye said they're getting just 50 copies and giving them to the most regular customers (ones who have spent the most with them)

I'm very sorry but we are not able to supply this record as promised.

We have only received 50 copies from our order of 300 and we have had
to give these to customers who have used us the most.

When the record was listed as a pre-order I checked with the
distributor to see if they could give us 300 copies, the distributor
then asked the label if this was fine and it was confirmed back to us
that it was. There was then a delay due to a pressing fault and I
checked again at this point that the amount was still ok and was told
it would be fine. Last week I was told that the record was shipping
this week and that orders would be cut down, I asked by how much and
was told that they should just about be able to sort out the copies we
had pre-sold (around 200). Yesterday afternoon I was told that they
had shipped me 50 and that was that.

I am sure that you will not be impressed with this but there is
nothing that I can do now but refund you. I apologise and I wish that
there was some way around this.

In all the years of doing pre-orders this has never happened, in fact
we have never failed to fill a pre-order.
