never underestimate the wanting of something because others want it.
I reckon it's down to that, along with these tunes growing on peeple.
I remember sunklowun when it first listed on redeye. Listened to the samples, but didn't act on it. It sat there, it was available for a time. So now I am just telling myself I obviously wasn't that into them. And i had been buying joy o and boddika tunes previous to that release etc.

To be fair if they were going to repress any of them it was most valid for it to be tuu, this seemed more limited than the other two and was more difficult to get hold of. They definitely shouldn't repress wun, that was around for over a month and it being the first release on the label it should remain that way

They shouldn't have repressed any at all, and do a compilation CD or something a bit further down the line imo

Represses are a good thing, if more people get to enjoy the music that cannot be bad.

I agree. Why limit how much you can press if you know you'll sell it? It's not like Motown or old funk/soul/rare groove labels didn't press a lot because they wanted it to be "exclusive" or whatever, they just didn't have the money to press 2,000 copies. I mean, sure, there are times when it's like, for example - FaltyDL's Mean Streets series, but that's the premise - the premise clearly isn't exclusivity with the sunklo joints because they've already had represses.

Also, in a world where vinyl sales are supposedly dying out, if you can sell a lot of it, that's a good thing too.
Don't get me wrong I understand some stuff being limited but in the bigger picture represses are a good thing.
