please direct me to anything existing if you know of anything, i'll be happy to check out anything. The sound i'm after is a real sounding bass, played like disco bass players did back in the 70's, but of course.... nice and hard for 2012 I'll give a few examples
bass around 0:55 - best example.
basa around 1:00
I use massive, sylenth and zebra... i have abl2 which is pretty good for these types of lines, and the way i can get the closest sound... but it's not my most favorite. Thanks all!
Slats slats slats squeeky synth?

I like the squeeky lead synth in Skrillex's old track "Slats Slats Slats", and I was wondering how to make it.
It sounds like a square with something else creating a lot of harmonics, eapecially when it pitch-glides to the next notes, making that loud squeeky noise much like the synth solo in Feed Me's track "Silicone Lube."
It also sounds like it's bitcrushed a tiny bit, or maybe there's something else there?
Alao does anyone know the note pattern it's arpeggiating/playing?

i want to know how to make this sound please!
its right at the begining between 0.01 and 0.03. It might be originally made with an accoustic instrument of some kind but i want to approximate it with a synth.
(its not a dubstep track by the way)
thanks in advance

Just wondering if anyone knows how to make this sort of wobble? I'd love to know how to.
Its probably very simple and its just me being stupid but how would i go about making the glitchy computer games bleeps at the start without any samples jus with synthesis. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Also, If your first post is asking for help with one thing most people will ignore you.

Open the simplest 2 or 3 osc synth you have, set to pulse/square and set an arpeggiator to play up, or program it by hand and just mess around with the scale and maybe chords, if anything a normal minor chord like a C minor @ C Eb G will work, but it can also work fine with just 1 note too if the arp is right. Apply chorus, a short delay, filter to taste.

Im seriously so confused as to how to make the sound that DatsiK and Knife party use... That transformers type of wobble that just makes you blow a load.
After the drop...there is the synth that like growls...not that one but the one right after goes slower and faster but the sound effect is just WOW... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b049CzFowJ4
Anyone that knows how to make it i would really appreciate it. Im not a noob either with dubstep music...i make my own and im very good at it as well but there is just some things i cant quite get a grasp on.
IF you care to check out my soundcloud you will hear good stuff...

extend your knowledge on using what ever synthesizer you are using.
So. There is a wubwub synth in this song I'd like to know how to recreate. On the first drop, you can hear it firing away on the first kick and snare. Its pretty much the only thing produced by bar 9 himself and not chopped up from split the atom.
I'd be the happiest if anyone could help. Im using reason 5, but if someone knew what oscilattors, perhaps how to filter it, I could apply it, I think.

I stumbled on the sound by accident before you posted. I assigned an LFO to a pitch on a oscilattor in thor. Havent done it yet, but I can defintely imagine that with distortion on it it will sound pretty much the same. So there you go if anyone else was looking for this!
The synth im talking about starts at playing exactly one minute in the song. the bass is easy to make its the other synth im talking about, the wobble.
If anyone can tell me what to set oscillators, effects and what not let me know even by sending me in the right direction would be a help!
and what you think would be the best vst to use if there would be one..
