If some one doesn't beat me to it lookss like its on the books for tomorrow. I think this could be really helpful, because the tips and what not you find around the internet are shit.

Might be useful to state that it's not a thread to post examples of dubstep made in FL, and to refrain from commenting on FL vs other DAW's. I'd like a useful thread full of cool stuff and as little hating as possible. However I fear the hating might be unavoidable....

I feel like i might be in over my head with this. i would love to make a Fl thread, but im still pretty deep into the learning process i hate to admit it but I'm afraid i might not have anything to bring to the table that isn't already in the duh category such as editing events, sampling, resampling, or even making a bassline. I really don't like saying this, but I'm still pretty much on the amateur side of things at least i think so. This isn't necessarily a bad thing because everyone was at this level at some point. Anyways i just don't wanna start off a great forum the wrong way or something. I can see that causing arguments. Also after seeing this forum go about the way it has petiole seem to have strong views about their daws. I can see that causing arguments, but this doesn't mean it shouldn't get done. Like i said if someone doesn't do it by tomorrow I'll do it. Either way i think it could be a huge learning experience for me , and the genre of music that taunts me everyday.

Okay, so we've had our ups and downs, but bottom line, you cannot produce dubstep in flstudio. It is decided.
