how can I get out of buying presents for people
without them feeling awkward?
currently I have a bunch of beeswax candles,
a colourfully-painted tin rooster,
a bag of compost made from lucerne & sheep poo
& a bunch of dish-washing brushes made out of recycled plastic & bamboo
with no idea of who would find them acceptable gifts.
I think this is gunna be a wierd chrissie.

What dope toys are there this year? I've got a 6 year old boy and a 3 year old girl to buy for.
Might go for a wander (read: uncomfortable shuffle) round Hamleys on the weekend.
