spent some time in villers-côterets a few months ago, really weird seeing the pics of the place being searched by RAID trucks

Now don't call me tasteless for asking about this but from the cartoons I've seen from the magazine they seem to take loads of cheap shots at Muslims constantly. Maybe I'm not getting it because I am not French or something but some of what I saw strikes me more as being hateful rather than actual satire

At work today our boss made everyone say je suis charlie after he said it and 5 ppl out of ten (4 muslim men one black christian lady) refused to on the grounds that theyve been offended by material thats been printed in the magazine.

some of their stuff towards Islam is pretty undignified and tasteless but tbf they did similarly offensive stuff about jews, catholics. I did also see what seemed like some pretty racist portrayals of blacks though

If I read correctly 2 of them were even communists and they "attacked" everything not just Islam but they did focus them more after the Danish cartoons

yeah obviously. im not saying that these attacks are in anyway justified. its disgusting to attack someone physically because of something that theyve drawn or said. the way to go about things is engaging in dialogue not shooting people.
