Back pain throughout the lower back.

One broken rib not re-set properly, another (formerly-broken) rib with a crack in it.

Mild depression.

That's about it for me!

Tinnitus (not very severe)

Acne (I'm in my mid-20s and take antibiotics for it, wasn't at all spotty during my adolescence either!).

Just about all the joints in my body make big cracking noises when I use them (all my fingers, my wrists, my knees when I bend them, my toes and ankles, my shoulders), but I don't get any aches or anything so it's probably nothing.

So I'm fairly happy with what I've got, especially reading some of the shit on here.

I get that, including my wrists and my neck. I'm hoping it's nothing!

I also get cracks in my jaw from time to time, but that's cos I had it dislocated when at school.

close. I got accepted into CalArts & UCLA but opted for UCLA mainly bc its cheaper and more central. and a smaller more intimate, more experimental program :)

heh i've got/had all that too :| according to the ENT consultant i saw most people have at least some tinnitus and it can be completely normal. i get pain in my ears too but he reckoned there wasn't anything wrong... i'm not so sure though

i used to have bad acne but got put on roaccatune to get rid of it. really heavy stuff, it wasn't pleasant at all. dries your skin out so much that my eyelids used to bleed and i had to shove vaseline up my nose to stop it getting ridiculously dry. and it causes liver damage, had to have blood tests all the time to make sure i was ok. it was worth it though :)

supposedly the cracking of joints is just air 'popping' in the joints as the bones move over each other. but some people get it more than others so i don't know why that is. my joints hurt too though but i think a lot of that is because i'm really tall and skinny and have overlong ligaments so that my joints aren't very supported

the ear pain could be from your jaw - i get that alot, due to my TMJ... my jaw is slightly out of alignment (theres more to it than that, but thats the reason for the ear pain). I also get pain in my ears from my alergies, I have mild sinusitis and bad alergies so I get minor ear infections alot. Ive been to the doctor about it and they just keep saying "take decongestants when it gets bad, not much we can do for it..." Im suprised I dont have tinitus (thank god) and my hearing is actually better than I thought it was (at least the last time I had it checked). I always feel like its going bad from the aforementioned sinusitis/allergies causing blockages... sometimes it gets really bad and I cant hear a conversation well enough to stay in it without intense focus and I mumble cause to me it sounds like Im yelling, kinda like talking with your fingers in your ears. When I get like that the only time I feel normal is playing records, just gotta turn it up a little more.

glad i don't have any allergies. i'm quite lucky in that apart from my body seeming like it was put together by a blind person i don't really get ill or have allergies

yeah that's what he said: pain from elsewhere in my head (wisdom teeth, jaw etc) getting confused in a small place like the head. i do have a clicky jaw so that does make sense, but the pain gets worse when i listen to music on headphones which doesn't really fit that diagnosis

recently came down with some sort of auto-immune/nervous system disorder... bad muscle/joint/nerve pain, muscle weakness, extreme fatigue, limbs going numb, loss of sensation in my fingers, bilateral swelling, accelerated heart rate, palpatations, hot/cold flashes, dizziness, nausea, migraines, etc. been 3 months and no doctors can figure out whats wrong w me .. next step is MRI on the brain to see if i have MS. yay!!

not to mention depression/emo-ness and the fact that my pending masters degree has been put on hold bc i cant get out of bed in the mornings.

seems to be a shit load of depression on these forums. anyone mind if i add to it?

i also have:

Obsessive Compulsive Dissorder

A dodgdy right knee, it clicks whenever i bend it
A general bad back, that comes from a slight supernation on my left foot arch which in turn is a result of breaking my left leg and the age of about 5. jus shows how things can affect each other aye?

I also suffer from a distinct lack of general motivation.
otherwise known as "Can't-be-assed-syndrome", dusnt help when ur about to sit a fuck load of GCSE's

My back/spine is a disaster area - pretty much nothing is where it should be. I also have an extra vertebrae in my neck which sounds cool but actually gives me really bad cramps and (apparently) if I were to whip my head around too fast I could suffer a stroke. :(

Apart from that - and the usual low-level depression, social anxiety and mild alcoholism - life is peachy.
