such a massive tune cannot wait to drop it in a set

my feeling on this tune.... is that it's suffering from the dubplate culture issue that killed the dnb scene
tunes being on promo/dub for months and months and getting played all over the place... but then the release coming and people being quite burnt on the tune and it not getting the same kind of support as it would have
granted it's a 'must have' for most.
i really hope this doesn't become a trend in this scene... it's one of the things that really turned people away from dnb and onto the dubstep sound... things were fresh and readily available often.. no 6+ month wait on tunes that are being cained by the big boys and then moved beyond because they got sick of them because they've been in the book so long
just a small similarity i'm seeing
maybe i'm just pissy cuz i still have to wait another month or so til this gets done hahaha. i dont expect to see it before october =/

To be fair its only a few releases that are getting cained like that. Alot of tunes don't even get noticed until they come out which is great IMO. True though, I might not even pick this up now when it comes out becuase I've heard it so much already.

Good that I heard tis one first yesterday. As the thread got already 9 pages people seems to wait quite long for this to come out. Absolutely big tune!!! Cant wait to hear it in full. Good to see that Dub Police finally got a big one again. Their last release were all a bit generic, but this one raises da roof

Annoys me how long this is taking to get released. By the time folk like myself get it, people will be bored of it
Big big tune though, and having said that I'll probably still buy it. FML.

I dont get it labels when delaying big tunes. They could sell now so much more copies then two months later. If I would be label owner and see that a tune Ive signed becomes a big anthem, I would do everything to bring it out as fast as possible.

labels work in the way that, they want it all over the place so that fuckers like us can get talking about it, and its worked...9 pages of just ONE track. emalkay must be rubbing his wallet like a genie lamp mate!
its bored me already though so i dunno if ill get a copy, im all about the filth anyways!!!!!

true dat, but isn't it a darn shame? i got enormously tired of the whole DNB scene (clownstep, bleeeergh!), for thát explicit reason, and now you see it happening in dubstep just as well?
mjeh, both worlds are so alike, it was perhaps a stupid assumption to think that Dub would not suffer from the same virusses...

drum n bass isnt dead, its just people arent willing to wait. alot of tunes are still getting the attention and sales they deserve. i happen to know ganja sell roughly 2000 - 2500 maybe even more even in this crisis. as soon as people realise that we do have money, the economy isnt crashing down on us and we can afford vinyl its fucking game on again!
