I use nothing but turntables and spin nothing but digital. Also, I buy every digital release (other than those passed on directly by the artist) that I play, so you can stfu.

read the first 3 pages...
you have been talking about quality...
but quality isn't the (main) reason for vinyl. it's the vinyl culture and tradition!
coxsone dodd - duke reid - king tubby - and nowadays it must be the dubstep scene. for me, it's a way of identifying dubstep. it gives it something exclusive.
Well, and as I mentioned somewhere else before: being for long time in teh traditional skinhead scene, collecting reggae/rock steady rarities is a part of my life, and really, one of the things i most enjoy, is skipping through my records.
get the wax, try it out!

i want all these tunes now, and if i can't have them, i'm going to throw a tantrum.
music isn't always about how you consume it.
just 2 weeks ago i found an album in a lousy basment of a recordshop.. i was looking for it almost 13 years ..
i had a horrible day, i came into the basement and the guy who was working there was just putting on the needle on the first tune ..
pure shivers... !!
i mean its also available on ebay for 50 euros or something .. maybe somewhere as a toXXent - but it wouldnt have be the same ..
nothing against digital - its more about havin evryting available at any time .. thats taking away something
