Just finished the latest series of House of Cards.. it wasn't as good as the other two imo and that final scene was fucking embarrasing.. thought I was watching eastenders.

I'm about half way into House of Cards and it already feels way more soap opera-ish than the previous seasons, that whole deal with the jailed guy in Russia was just cringeworthy. Still has its moments though and I'm definitely gonna finish it

Yeah, seems like everyone is watching it though.

I am big into Fargo. It's really funny too. It's annoying that you have no idea what
to expect of following seasons though, as it's an anthology like True Detective.
Both could potentially become quite different shows.

I just tried to watch Gotham after hearing lots of good things, 3 full-on cringes in the first 4 minutes, can this possibly be worth persisting with?

it's ok gotham, seen it to the end,, could be good in the future,, many ways and stuff to explore... what did you cringe about (didn't see first episode hahaha)

vikings is quite ok too haven't seen full s1 iirc but till 8 it was entertaining

The intro with Batman's parents was super lame, how did they manage that when it's been done so, so many times already? It had a full on Darth Vader "nooooo!" lameness. Then Gordon's character clunking around and managing to be super shit at literally everything he does/says.

Pilots get some leeway though.

yeah didn't see it so not one to judge but imho it's not so much about batman/Bruces parents but yeah some stuff couldve been handled better even further down the line,, you'll see if you stick with it.. C

I think it actually gets better, apparently its not very historically accurate tho

yeah Vikings has been keeping me going til Game of Thrones comes back. Feels a bit predictable at times though, or at least this season.

Yeah it plays out as you kinda expect most of the time. The way it played out with the ginger king (wont spoil it for eric but with floki etc) i was not sure which way it was going to go tbf. The whole floki vs the priest result was pretty obvious though, and wasn't expecting ragnar to say "because i love you" to him though

Banshee or Rectify?

Know very little about either, but both seem equally interesting to me

haven't seen banshee but season 1 of rectify was decent, for what that's worth. planning to watch season 2 soon

Rectify is really good. Slow but worth it.
