I'm not sure if has enough man, the mixdown isn't heavy enough for what you're trying to acheive the song doesn't have enough swagger in it. Think you should go back to the drawing board, the skill is there you just gotta elevate it somehow.

How should I make it heavier? Think I should turn the subs up?

Think you should move on and make more complicated/better tunes. You know those vinyl releases everyone buys and loves? Those are what you're competing against.
edit: But yeah the subbass is kinda weak and doesn't move with the other bass you have going there.

D-con - I really like that burn rate tune. Sorry, that's not even feedback really. Sequence is really cool but that bass hit that comes in at about a minute really put me off, ruins it a bit I've got to say.
Reign - I think the drums are really just lacking a bit of shuffle. And the piano melody that comes in gets a blocky, some interesting dynamics and ornaments in that could really make a difference.
I got onto that 'something out there' track (I may have veen given you feedback on it before 'cause I'm sure I recognise it) and well, that's how a wobbler should be done. Reso-ish.
Grunt - I like a lot of the ideas but the drums are too sparse for me, the buildup to the first drop has just been done to death. The basses are quite cool- maybe not groundbreaking- but the mids jump out at you a bit much, just a bit of fixing the levels needed there I think.
Thierry le DJ - (feeling it) The bass is really nice, you could leave more little pauses though, it's bit too constant maybe. A nice staccato sort of synth counter melody might be nice. Something like that comes in about 2 minutes, something with that theme but something less prominent. Some high-mid stuff to fill out that bass a bit.
Heart attack boy - On the drop the bass is wicked, the first half of the loop (the synth bit) just sounds wrong. I like the feel of it, and the drums are cool (and different) but those strings made me turn it off. It could be good with strings, but they're all over the place as is.
I've finally got one track. So rip it apart if needs be. It's quite a slow starter and I realise the piano's a bit f**ked. Better if you can get it loud I'd say, I've not been able to hear it going full blast sadly.

Safe guys,
Made a new tune called 'Gumball Drop' with another producer.
Up on the soundcloud and would really appreciate some feedback. Its the first time ive ever worked with anyone on a track and the whole concept and feel of the is very different to what i normally produce.
I would be really interested to hear what people think as im still undecided on this track at the moment and i realise the mix down isnt great so far.
All feedback is really appreciated! Ill feedback as many as i can.

@moki I agree with the comments above. I think the ideas are there and the intros good and when it drops its heavy. As soon as you main lead comes in i think lose that dark and dank feel that the track could have had. Its quite a spacey track and i think such dominant lead isnt the way to go. More a sub bass or something of the like.
@Therapist I think the track starts of really nicely and when the wobble comes in around 1.40 it becomes messy. The piano isnt loud enough or the bass is too loud. Overall i think it just doesnt fit. The drums in the intro sound good.
@adisize I am really feeling this track. I was slight nervous in the intro, thought there might be a massive wobble about to come in on teh drop! When it does drop its so mellow. I think some vocals might enhance the track, but this is a real chilled out one.
@Thierry This is a well produced track and i really enjoyed listening to it. I like the various influences in it. I reckon you bassline could do with some variation but apart from that i thought it was refreshing.
All feedback on 'Gumball Drop' appreciated.

Cheers - lmao about the wobble comment! no way am i going down that route! not against wobble though (pinch punisher is a fucking wobble ain't it really!!) and I think that sound is good when used in mellower tunes!

YES! I like that. (not sure about the title though) Not much criticism to be honest, it's dirty and has the right balance of change but keeping the same themes in there. Good work, I'd like to hear some of these on hench system.
