Definitely going to pick up a Sample, was supposed to have one by now but blew all my budget on other things. I'm having a nightmare with syncing all my hardware to Ableton at the moment (I usually use Logic but am moving away from it) - it's just not tight at all. The Volcas start as much as a 1/16th off beat sometimes.
Anyone got any solutions/fixes/tweaks for getting the MIDI sync more stable? Aside from sacking Ableton and using Cubase perhaps lol.

Is it consistently the same time late? I think that can be handled with track delay. If it varies each time, which is something I've experienced, it is a drag. People be calling that midi jitter (which is a good name for a cat, btw).
Ask these midi dudes. Last time I had an elaborate midi setup... nevermind.

haha unfortunately the syncing is inconsistent and different each time. I'll keep trying. I'm aiming to not use a computer at all for my live rig but it's annoying for recording stuff in from my hardware stuff. Cheers for the reply!
MeeBlip Anode digital/analog hybrid mono synth on sale for 99USD for 3 days!
I've got this little guy and have to say with the wavetable updated 99USD is well worth the money.

I like the weird quality these samplers give sounds. Not remotely high up on my list of shit I need but I like that sort of digital character. Reminds me of Swans' stuff in the 90s (they did use one of these I think)

I love the way the Mirage sounds. Such texture and character. I'm a huge fan of some 80's and 90's industrial music where these feature heavily. I would absolutely love it if someone made a modern sampling keyboard with VCF's and VCA's, but with the option to use a clean modern ADC or a discrete lofi ADC for the sampling.

So my work is changing office which is going to be like a 2.5-3 hour commute each way for me so I gotta leave.
If I don't find something in the next month I might have to duck into the Virus TI fund ((((. Also might have to sell my Kontrol S.
Anyone want to buy it? haha

Its fucked, just got to the point where I am great financially, shit even nearly got a deposit to buy my first house... I can imagine myself doing that 6 hour commute for a few months and hating life.
Stripping back my gear could be a good thing though!

Six hour commute is total bullshit dude...that seems doable if all you want to do is get to your job and nothing else. IMO. I'm a country-ish suburbs guy myself...so we drive everywhere...but I can't even image doing that on a train...
Been selling off a lot lately and the stripped back studio feels more productive IMO. Too many drunk, friday night, half watching netflix e-bay buys...
