There seems to be a problem with the shop too - I only got charged £22, and there was no additional P&P charge, despite the fact it should cost £4. Or £6. I forget.

The cider I got from there was absolutely wicked, I'm feeling the brandy for fathers too ( although it will be late ).

Which one did you just order Matt? I've got some hecks cider at home that I picked up in Bath a few weeks back, it actually tastes like a cowpat.

I've just ordered the 3 year one. 42%, £22 quid. Bargain!

I did really enjoy the ten year one and will definitely be getting another bottle of it, but I fancy the idea of one that's a little more apple-y, a little bit sweeter. Feels like it'd be a more summery drink to me...

Lemme know what it tastes like and I might order some.

Did you try the Kingston black?

I'm starting to think we should start a separate thread!

I didn't mate, only bought the one bottle. Was the Kingston Black the cider? Any good?

They're fast becoming the official brewer of the Secret Ninja Hideout! In fact, they should put that on their website!

it was more a question of when and not where and the three dots are a question of preference

like i said, i'm bored :P

and whilst i'm on the pointless correcting tip, i'm sure cider wouldn't be brewed

i'll shut up now

Err... you brew beer, spirits, liquor and most other alcoholic drinks... why wouldn't you brew cider?!

It's true...technically it's a distillery, apparently. Still, either way, it should be the official booze source of the Secret Ninja Hideout.

Perhaps we should try and organise a field trip?

I'll stand down then... they do call themselves a distillery too.

The dictionary seems to think that you only "brew" alcoholic things if they use hops.

Big up to Friday afternoon timewasting pedantry!

nothing wrong with a bit of pedantry. well there's plenty wrong with it tbh but that's never going to stop me

so to continue... i don't think brewing necessarily has to involve hops. for instance tea is brewed, as is coffee

i'm intrigued by this brandy stuff though. i don't usually like it but this sounds like it might be an exception
