dude, Melodik, sick track...I love the gyuto monk sample in the intro.

I have a new one on myspace and virb called Vulture. Not dubstep, more like minimal or dubby techno, but its at 138, so its in the tempo ballpark.

@ dj. ik
nice progression in the tune...pretty chilled aswell, maybe a lil less wobble or change the speed of it in some places would help with a bit of variety but good tune for shore!!

@ Nytz
big one for shizzle!! really like the movement between your wobbles!

@ knobgoblin
loving the minimal sound, pretty dark and ambient at the same time...on an outdoor rig I bet it'd sound pretty sweet!

It's very good, the flow's nice and you got some good sounds going around in the song. Nothing to say really

Tried some vocal recording for the first time on this one, dunno about the 3rd vocal part tho

Thnks man i appreciate it
One question though
do you mean the LFO amount on the wobble or the overall volume of the bass?

Get te fuck-
...great.

Day walkers-
hahaaa fuck yeah!
i really like the transition you made from the glitchy intro to the melody
maybe making that one sound you have that makes me think of a spring a bit louder would work a bit better

Jam master jay has a fit-
Holy shit.
Tell you one thing, blaze one to this
ha...
damn man..
FIRE FIRE FIRE!!
i love the hotdog bit aswell
i know the film it originally came from
and i gotta say you made it work quite well

Just fuck-
"excuse me while i light my spliff!"

keep up the great work!

Please tell me what you think of this. Critisisms welcomed and appreciated.

@ Saint: I am feeling Quest, and I really like the pads and string on state of confusion. The melody kind of reminds me of all the Japanese RPG games I used to play, and for me that is a good thing. :D When the bass kicks in the sounds start to get a little bit more dissonant, and I think that is the effect you were going for, it kind of breaks up the melody. For a bit the midrange goes out and you are left with the bass, wondering what is going to come back in. Around 2:00 instead of dropping back into the melody it kind of goes back to the dissonant part. I think this was an artistic desicion on your part, but I would have prefered to hea stings come in again. i want to come back with something after my journey into bass land. More of a commentary than a cristism, nothing wrong with the way you did it but it makes the song quite dark.

@einumof: Vibes. As with Saints state of confusion, I was enjoying the soundscape. My only quam is that with this kind of music you do not really need to have the driving beat that you put in it. I would like to hear a beat thats a little dirtier, maybe take out some hits randomly, vary velocity a little bit. That comment is more for the first half than the second, I think the beat you chose works great for the second half.

@reignz: Its nice to see someone from newgrounds on here. I have always been a big fan of that site. I like the vox work. I was actually considering putting something like that into the drops of my song but I never got around to it. When it goes "No Rest for the Wicked", and then hits I was feeling it, but it cuts out to another vox after just 4 bars. The third vox was fine, but I would have liked to hear that riff a bit more between the two.

saint, thanks a lot man! i really appreciate it. and yeah that daywalker tune has a personal touch what with me being one hahaha. oh and yeah i meant the lfo and like eq the hi freq a bit louder, i'm not really great with names of the technical stuff but anyway, your tunes are so melodic man, i've always been a bit better at beats than harmonies and melodies but i really wish i could do that sort of stuff, it's soundin sweet. what do u use to make stuff?
oh and p.s what's the film that the hotdog things from? i thought it was just some dodge like acid propaganda thing

and aeium, yeah man i love that little electroey wobble just before the drop, it's nice. and i like the melody goin on it's canny chilled but heavy, i like chilled but heavy.

2 new tunes up on my soundcloud ( City View / With You ). Would really appreciate feedback!

Heres feedback to repay the favour in advance :e:

Einmoft - Mature Nature

Awesome tune. I'm actually listening to it for the 3rd time, pretty addictive. Love the subtle synths and pitched up vocals. Really nice perfected textures. Didn't really remind me of burial but a cleaner refined version of Falty Dl. One thing that doesn't sound right to my ears is the clap. You have perfectly mixed it down but i think its the wrong choice of hit. It really stood out at 1st but on further listen i dont notice it. Really really good stuff

Sunny B - Brown Scooter

Nice wap wap synth and really good brutal ideas. It loosed defination as the wap wap synth is too loud you have heavily compressed the whole master. Because of this, the rest of the tune is drowned out. If you spend a little more time playing around with mixing down your tunes, they could sound wicked :)

MK.II - Care

Really reminds me of the 98 tech step days when bad company were good and skynet and stakka were still making tunes together. Really nice and moody . imo the beat lacks punch. I think this could be resolved with playing around with the high on an EQ. This is especially needed on the snare. Awesome synths and really nice vibe.

Blind-Prophet - New Beginnings

Really nice melodies and ambient feel. The synths sound a little bit clean and not to sure about the lead that comes in around 1.25. Nice use of sub, really pulling the tune together . at 2.23 the bongo break down sounds a little cheap imo. Maybe it the needs the sub.

Stappard - Roch-Fus

Really liking this. Very ambient . Loving the percussion, gives the track a very organic feel. Evolving swirling synths creating complex textures. A very warm tune

Joonipah - Get Te Fuck

Some very cool ideas here. Very nice punchy snare. Complex heavy percusion and really deeep subs. The mix down is pretty much perfect. Not sure about the rusko esk vocal... Loving that dirty detuned synth. Awesome breakdown at 2.57. You're onto something, keep this stuff coming ;)

Saint - Get Down ( Forensic Rmx )

The whole mix is lacking in high end. Add some hats + EQ + Compress that snare

LHD - Good Feelings

Really nice reverb used on the synth. Not to sure about the snare.. Really nice kick though. The sub fits perfectly in the mix and keeps the whole thing flowing. A really nice dreamy tune mate

Seeka - Welcome to the darkside

Nice ragga vibe going on here. Maybe compress the snare. Love the the sqeulchy sounds on top of the sub bass. I'd EQ the kick as it doesn't have any punch. Get rid of the high on it to. Very nice minimal ideas.

Aeium - Head in The Clouds

The percussion needs some definition at the start. Sounds kind of muddy. When that sub comes in it sounds wicked. Love the ideas. Really happy fun tune

DEF / METAL -After Dark

Wicked rhythm + progression. Loving the vocal stabs and and mad sfx. Could maybe do with some sub under the kick to make it a little heavier
