I know that feeling I hated the idea of Torres scoring against us for Chelsea. Wasn't that arsed at the idea of Owen scoring for Newcastle but would have been super fucking annoyed had he scored for the mancs

I want us to sign Dempsey but us not dicking around has cost us average players for lots of money. I don't mind a bit of work to make sure we get the right deal for the club because I'm not sure we've done a ton of that recently.
Very happy with Allen.

He played okay yesterday took his goal well and contributed a decent bit.
I'm good with Rodgers though and he's had him twice so I may be giving too much credit

Idk I mean they've signed two pretty young guys.. I think signing someone like Dempsey who is in te peak of his career would only help

Unfortunately i think he's gone whatever happens. Nice to see Podolksi score 2 goals, but it looks like we'll be starting the season with 2 untested strikers and Chamakh...

Allen's a good signing for Liverpool. They should defo try signing Adam Johnson now tho as Man Cit have a stupid amount of Midfielders. They could put an English internation midfield of their reserve players in Johnson, Milner, Barry and Rodwell.

It's just not the Arsenal way is it?
Sad to see RvP go (assuming he does), but he's been an absolute treat for us for years. I bet he's as conflicted as some of us fans.

he had the armband? I wouldn't be sure he's gone yet if I was an Arsenal fan.

No, it definitely doesn't seem certain - surprised that he'd be featuring so prominently in the pre-season if he was definitely not going to be part of the season, but the gossip has been a lot more "definite" than all those daft summers worrying about Fabregas...

looks like bad news is on the way

I aint gonna hate on rvp tho - he's been my favourite player for a good couple of seasons.
What i wanna know is if that £22m has already been spent or is earmarked for other players
really could do with Sahin now + hope theres a few bluebirds before deadline day.

Im thinking Arsenal are going to start the season with a weaker squad than they finished last season with. Barcelona representatives are apparantly in London to sort out a deal for song

Maybe if Liverpool thrash us 8-2 at Anfield Wenger will buy some replacements

It's shit losing your best players to a rival but it's a good chunk of money for a 29 year old player with a year left. It's a testament to both how good he is and how fucked the market is.
Your hope has to be that it all goes to transfers

By simple logic, Birmingham City are better than England, and therefore at least the second best team in the world, and I will hear no words against my theory.
