They try and fit in/make up for lack of personality by either wearing a fedora and talking shit on religion, or playing a sport and talking shit on nerds.
While in natural habitat (internet or playing sports) they seem like exciting people with lots of opinions/personality but catch them outside of natural habitat and they are actually boring wankers.
Neither can just coexist with women they either need to be too nice to them or wankers to them.
Neither can accept other people for who they are unless they play sports or are equally nerdy/atheist.
They make up for a lack of self esteem by hiding behind a sport or the internet.
etc etc
Obviously i dont mean everyone who has ever played sports, but people who identify themselves as whatever sport they play probably fit into the categories.

Just look at how much the religion bashing he has decreased since the fedora atheist thing became a thing.
In part because of that, I respect some fat, neckbearded, atheist, fedora wearing brony more than the people that make fun of them. Even if they're whipped losers who've never seen the sight of a vagina in their 30+ years, they're still whoever the fuck thet want to be despite what people think of them. Whereas the hordes of internet dwellers that obsessively make fun of them or point out how 'fedora' someone else is, do it because they're just too afraid of people thinking they're anything like them. In other words, they care a whole lot more about what people think of them than bronies do.

Except the fedora atheist type person does care massively what people think of them. They want to appear to be the intellectually superior person who won't blindly follow religion. They may appear to not care but that's more a case of appearing to brushing off what those people who are "below" them think to maintain their ideas about being so smart when they're actually massively flawed and probably really insecure.

SO, last year my m8 got kicked out of our house and this malaysin kid moved in. barely spoke english, just played pokemon n shit and did maths
i showed him the way of the rave
started him drinking every now and then an finally managed to get him on a bender doing coke n k and he got a blow job of this fat girl who smelt like when u walk past subway. kinda light olive mixed with toasted italian herbs and cheap meat
then couple weeks later he comes back smashed and from what i could make out he said he got kicked out of bunker for doing coke he bought of some g outside
was like yes bruv. and then he left and went to finish his degree in london
but i reckon we'll always be friends, not through the english language , but through the universal language of drugs

I'm not offended. Becoming the archetypal 80's film villain is basically my aim. I'm probs a horrible person. I have several varsity jackets, a strong interest in sport and working out, etc. Do however work in IT, which is a bit of a let down, but I'm working on it.
Anyway Gene, I'm completely who I wanna be and comfortable with myself. Still dun like fedoras though.
