8inch screen. can do all the things an ipad 2 can, just on a smaller surface.

I never felt the need to buy/use an ipad, but yes I did some stuff on the mini and it works fine.
Friend who owns it also had the 2, but he gave that away and now only uses the mini.

ive never really wanted one, but i need something to hold me over till i get a new laptop.

thought i might as well get something thats reliable & portable.
