yeah allow feeling pressurized into that shit! the smart move is to lay back in the cut evaluating things for like a decade before committing to such things imo. swear down a lot of people just get married for something to do/ a bit of excitement in their lives. Marriage is just a status in the grand scheme of things its close to meaningless - its how the relationship is that counts, not its legal status.

Sure, there are a few knobs that come through every once and a while, but it's still an amazing resource with so many really knowledgeable people willing to help out - it's gold. I learned so much about production just spending a few months there.
there are a lot of great people who frequent the production forum (wub, deadly habit, legend4ry, garethom) and make some great contributions, but the place is just so saturated with the thousands of wannabe "INSERT BROSTEP PRODUCER HERE"s and their dumb posts/questions/tracks. It was a great resource for me when I started out and I wouldn't be where I am production-wise without it, but it just got worse and worse as dubstep has gotten more popular to the point that it's quite unbearable (at least to me).

Fair enough, that is pretty true - there's just still a lot of gold there, is all I'm saying.

Get contacts! They're a pain in the ass for the first month or so, but then they get better - I hate glasses, contacts all the way.

They can also potentially bankrupt you.
Kids are not cheap.
Dogs are cheaper, cats are even cheaper.

Most people feel like that in the mid-20s when the euphoria and bright-eyed enthusiasm of youth has pretty much faded away and your goals seem as far out of reach as they were when you were 21.

It only gets worse.

To be fair, it usually does get better by the time you're 28-30.

The next dip is usually in the 35-45 range, depending on relationship and family situations.
