Will admit, the grey is nicer than the black/yellow, imo.

Not if your a Steeler's fan. Black and yellow ftw

Thinking of getting these limited grey ones for $20 more from DV. Seems a bit indulgent paying extra for a colour though

im happy the black ones fit my setup well. but if that color appeals to you enough to where you draw inspiration from it/ or your setup. fuck it & go for it.

Imagine a laptop there sitting on top of that guitar amp and that's my setup. I had to take the pic using my laptop's camera. The speakers you see behind the small guitar amp is my big piece of shit Marshall amp and it sucks.

I have one too :D

It's fun to bounce audio through it for some experimentation but I could never use it to make a tune.

Lol it's not meant to make tunes XD, I use headphones, laptop speakers, and my shit stereo for that. But that would be weird experimenting with that, I might try it.

Never thought of bouncing thru an amp.. Hmmm.

I've Mic'd and recorded guitar thru my line6 for tracks before, sounded good to me.

Yea I have that very amp too. Am also gonna be using it as a disto unit and bounce some of my bass lines through it. Hopefully will yeild some interesting effects.

Though even on the clean setting with no distortion on it's still very distorted.

Yeah it gives it some personality. I don't really know how the amp is EQ'ed or how the onboard effects compare to a DAW's stock effects, but it's still fun to play around with and see what you get. And the headphone out is really convenient for recording straight into your DAW.

Some of those distortion presets get pretty crazy 8)

EDIT: I think I'll upload a pic of my setup finally sometime today.

if you're going to bounce things through an amp make sure you have a reamp box

listen to deadly he understands.

i have been telling people about re-amping lately it to such weird responses "oh it sounds fine with out"... simple signal flow here people. You can't run something meant for instrument level sound at line level. This is like audio 101.

anyways, yes re-amping is key. Don't ever load your transitors with too hot of signal.

People should have to take a free course to get on the production forum.

And a good point to note is that bass guitars can easily blow regular guitar amps, so you might wanna be careful running too much low end through them
