Remove yourself Viler.

Get yourself back in the premiership, the midlands derby is always a laugh. Villa v. West brom just isnt the same...

But Wenger pulled him aside shortly before Sunday's friendly victory over Cologne, told him he would be sold if a deal could be reached and informed the Dutchman he was no longer part of his plans.

Why the fuck did they sell him to united? And for only 24 mil??? I would have preferred if they had sold him to Juve for 15 mil. At least that way we aren't strengthening our rivals.

RVP had to go, he wanted to go and thats that. Utd were the only option, RVP no longer wanted to go to Juve, the only non-prem club interested
Only £24mil ????? Thats a FUCK load of money for an injury prone striker, who could sign a contract for next season with any club for FREE in January.
£24mill definitely softens the blow a lot, hopefully see that re-invested in January/ next summer.
Lose RVP but gain cazorla, giroud and podolski leaves us in a much better situation than last season
Really hope can add a few more before window closes, especially sahin

If Liverpool can get Sahin and Tello, and ditch Adam, Henderson and Downing they could be looking pretty good this season. 1st time they will have had 3 strikers is yeeeeears.
Gotta hope those 3 gel quite quickly for Arsenal, really need to keep hold of Song imo tho.
Anyone off to any matches tomorrow? Im going Palace Vs Watford.....got 0-0 written all over it.

Problem is that song looks likely to leave as well. Sahin seems to prefer Liverpool for some reason

yeah he must be pretty keen to not play in the world's premier club competition, the champions league.

Sahin looks close and I think the Tello stuff along with noises about Walcott who I think Arsenal will keep and Johnson who seems to be wanted at Man City means Liverpool are looking at a wide quick? attacker which is good.
I think Adam can go but I think there's a footballer in Henderson and I think Rodgers will be the man to determine if I'm right. Downing had an awful season last season but I expect Rodgers to deploy him differently. We'er not blessed with enough pace that we can shift him out without replacing him in addition to bringing Tello or an other in.

He'd still be earning the same at either club, the only difference would be how much of it Madrid are paying. I suspect its Mourinho thats convinced him Liverpool would be the better option

Not necessarily and as neither of us know the structure of the deal it's impossible to say. If there's an option to buy then the players salary is an issue from the onset. Also if Liverpool are offering to pay more than Arsenal then RM could just reject the Arsenal deal out of hand. It should be announced today and I guess we'll have a clearer idea then. Apparently Mourinho and Alonso recommended Liverpool to him.

Have to fancy Man U this season. I even think 24mil is a little incy bit much for a 29 year old, but him and Rooney up front? Fucking hell, like.

Mourinho is also pushing Liverpool because arsenal is in champions league and I doubt they would want to give players to a team that could be playing against them.... Just a thought
