I've heard a lot of complaints from people about Clouds though. They are really getting some bad feedback after this gig. Guess people expected them (or him as most people refer to Clouds) to top Perc & Truss in terms of hard hitting techno. Set sounds pretty cool to me though.. the awake bros got their fireworks and lasers so who gives a crap in the end
I really got this sense from clouds when I interviewed them that they are really frustrated with being pigeonholed as just noisy abrasive techno lads. I know they have a few projects under different names coming out soon that take on a different direction and I'm really excited to hear what they sound like, for all their humble production beginnings I can see a lot of talent inside them.

yeah i read on some youtube comments of people complaining but i had a scan through too and felt it was decent. Maybe they are just better producers than DJ's (it was 2 of em djing from the vid i watched)
Thanks for the ID!

@Blenky Definitely. I've seen them play in a small basement venue here and they mixed it
up quite a bit. Looking forward to hearing those new tracks as well, sounds interesting.
Moultz, that other video you uploaded is not Perc & Truss right?

anyone else gettin bored of this super noisey techno b2b white flashing vids lol
seems to of become super saturated in the 6 months
i loved it and now its just starting to bore me, its so over the top its just become a bit bland in most cases
really hard techno is some of my favourite stuff too dont get me wrong, but they've kinda lost alot of the pump and rythm and its just noisey and weird for the sake of it

Yeah I'm not a fan of the overly noisey stuff either, want bass to have a leading role.
Yeah those videos you're talking about are probably mostly by the29nov They take on a lot of industrial tracks. Some of em are good though.
Kingsday tomorrow Looking forward to Function and DVS1 mostly.

tbh super noisy bangers are a bit meh. dropping a couple in a set is alright, but not for 2+ hrs ffs
I know there's quite a lot of tech house stuff coming through in CLR podcasts..
but I definitely recommend checking the latest one. It's by Clemens Neufeld, nothing but
acidic goodness.

Both absolutely great. Has anyone else received their copy yet? I though they weren't released for a while. Definitely playing mine on my show tonight.

Nice break from the heavy distortion rage, some good old rattling 909:
