hey guys
couple of general ableton questions i need to solve!
when i export, for some reason my drum group and percussion groups are being missed out of the final render, all seems fine and they are playing through the master but the render of the master is cutting them out, also tried soloing them and they wont render.
When i bounce them down on a new track and render then they come out fine, any ideas what i can check? it worked fine yesterday and all of a sudden today, nothing.
2ndly I have 3 plugins on my master, a vintage compressor, brick wall limiter and a spectrum analyser. Since adding these to the master I get around 3 second delay from hitting play to sound coming from the speakers, any ideas how i can fix this? I know the plug ins are causing it since i see the levels bounce through each one before becoming audible but i want it to be instant and no lag!
Thanks for help with these 2 issues, theyre pretty much the only problems I have with ableton!

Did you check this?
Also you can try to change your buffer size to a bigger number.

I tried those settings to get my latency down to 0ms and still get the delay caused by the plugins.
TYhey are T Racks plugins if that helps

Regarding the missing channel - check whether you've set its output to "External" accidentally.

Maybe getting samplerate to 44.1kHz? T-Racks are a big memory hog IIRC. If you don't have a proper audio interface (which you seem to do but I'll just say this anyway) that might be a problem.

Resample the channel and export after that then. See if that changes anything. Weird.

if i bounce the channel and export its fine, it just wont do it as its existing midi : /
heres a print screen of my channels to see if anyone can spot an issue...
oh also is this set correct for parallel compression on the 'B' bus at the bottom? i think its defaulted back to normal? but im trying to parallel compress through that bus!

Are you sure your track delays are off? Go to "view" and check "track delay", then see if they're all on zero.

ill check tomorrow when im back on that pc i havent set anything to do with that so i assumed it would be fine, its on the percussion group as well now i think about it, so 2 of the groups aren't exporting.

Lots of random stuff doesn't work in cracked versions, so yes that IS how software works.

Try getting in touch with the Ableton team and sending in a report/file so they can look at it.

Possible phasing issue with the sends?
On your Drum Bus
Turn Send A OFF
Turn Send B all the way up
Use Send B Volume fader to mix in the compression and make sure compressor is set to 100% wet
You want to have the same compressor and eq on the drum bus, as you do on send B. But on the drum bus, you don't need to use the compression or eq if you don't want.
That might solve it? If it doesn't, no idea man.
