I'm pretty suspicious of Icke, to me his views seem be furthering the notion that the ruling elite are from some special, untouchable highly advanced bloodline and In doing so he is propagating subservience to a superior ruling class under the auspices of enlightenment.

It's a good way of capturing the audience of people that have refused to swallow the mainstream medicine.

Fundamentally though the message is still the same.

That interview with Alex Collier is really interesting. Even if it's a load of shit, the overall message is good.

It always strikes me as an interesting demonstration of the oddities of human logic that the people who most loudly and vehemently refute what others generally accept to be proven reality in lieu of their own hard-evidence-free conceptions of reality always resort to statements alleging that those who accept the proven line are closed-minded and refuse to expand their thoughts. Yet, the very same accusation can be levied against them, ie they are similarly closed-minded for refusing to even consider that the accepted version of reality is in actual fact reality. But these reverse accusations are always just brushed aside as the rest of us are just being willfully ignorant, blissfully in the dark or just plain stupid. Woebetide us if we were to ever utter back the same response. It happens whether it's religion, conspiracy theories, politics, feminism, whatever. Wherever you find zealots basically.

I'll happily entertain conceptual thoughts that the world is controlled by Reptillians, that God exists, that we all co-exist in the same infinitesimal dimensionless spot, whatever. However, until hard, physical evidence is put in front of my nose, they can remain no more than fantasies, conjectures and thought experiments.

We share an evolutionary ancestry with reptiles. Heck, our brains and fetal development stages still show commonalities. Our shrew-like ancestors would have been food for reptiles. In the same way that most animals are born aware of the dangers of predatory animals, like how a newborn zebra knows how to run like fuck when a lion charges, it is probably hardcoded into many of us to fear reptiles. There are also signals passed on through nurture (conscious or unconscious) and the aesthetical differences between mammals and reptiles. On a related note, I find it interesting that human babies seem to be born lacking any survival instincts whatsoever. Do any other baby mammals cry like mad with absolutely no sense of self-preservation? If there aren't any others, I wonder when and why we lost that during our evolutionary process.
