all the other subforums are pretty straightforward, though it scares people (& maybe women in particular) off in a whole different way. as some others have alluded to in various posts on here, as of late it seems women have been seen as lessers in terms of bass music knowledge and members of the scene, pretty sad but also a generalization based in some truth. no one wants to be the chick who comes on here talking about the new popstep remix. 5 minutes looking at the forum and you'll realize it's not the place for anyone but deep heads.

sure that sounds alot cooler than saying its at the oceanwolf89 wrote:Are you smoking in the pampas grass section of a gardening centre?NW DUBAHOLIC wrote:

If we were all trying to pick up women, then...yeah. But we're not...are we?
the deep heads know whats up. man or woman. a good friend of mine who is a producer for murs and has been murs's dj for a minute keeps telling me about all the really cool women he meets at each of their shows. im not trying to correlate murs with cool women, im just saying that more conscious stuff like murs's music leads to cooler people in general.knell wrote:my lady is absolutely in love with the SNH, but she is indeed a deep head...

my point is that most women i have met who are into the deeper stuff have more substance, even here in phoenix. just from my own experience... however, some might have a different experience.
How many women do you know from Phoenix?wub wrote:esfandyar wrote:

LOL, not like that at all. Just people I've met the times I've been out there and stayed in touch with.herbalicious wrote:wub wrote:Without internet forums I wouldn't have been laid since 2002.The pimp game is strong in this one.wub wrote:About 20 or so to talk to, I'd say. Never seen this myself. Admittedly I don't stalk this part of the forum toooooo much (though I do check it most days), yet I've never seen anything but respect for the women in the scene; MAH, Cooly G, Ikonika, Vaccine, Ashes57...belalala wrote:as some others have alluded to in various posts on here, as of late it seems women have been seen as lessers in terms of bass music knowledge and members of the scene, pretty sad but also a generalization based in some truth.

absolutely, all those women get great respect and that was never doubted. i was thinking of the "what ruined dubstep" thread in particular where there was ongoing banter about how girls in the scene have changed from heads just like you lot to bandwagon riding chicks who just want to be seen at a big night out. obviously a grave overgeneralization but i've seen/heard it elsewhere too.cosmic surgeon wrote:Never seen this myself.
