my only problem is idk what labels to send my tunes too
im lookin for stuff like phantom hertz and stuff, maybe a bit smaller but with a semi-decent following but not shooting too high if u get me..
any ideas?

shoot as high as you want man, just make sure YOU'RE happy w/ the tracks.
send it to phantom hertz, send it to your favourite label, if nothing comes of it fuck it get back in the studio come back with even better stuff.

ph aint after new artists atm, but i guess youre right ill just get my stuff out there and if nothing comes ill get back on some tunes til something does

even if they don't sign to the tunes to their label, they might play them out or show them to people who are looking for new producers

it is acceptable to approach DJs you're "friends" with on Facebook? is that kinda the whole point of having them on there.

best bet would be to ask them on Facebook where you can send them dubs, most will give you an email address or something like that

my experience was quite the opposite. When I played my unmastered dubs at the radio I struggled to have the same "pressure" compared to the "professional" songs in my set. But on a heavy system the problem was fixed with making up the volume a bit.

I think thats because of the compression. I well done mastering it's all down to the right way & amount of compression. On the radio, even if they still compress it, you need this badly. But on a loud & heavy system you got the power for the dynamics to show.

I decided anyway do get all my dubs mastered proper when I'm done working on them, its worth the money

Hitting up people you don't know is fine. If they don't want you as a friend they can always block you.

just don't piss people off by constantly choking up their messages.

yeah i would agree with this. even if you're broadcasting at a lower bit rate, the perceived loudness is typically lower for un-mastered tracks.
