Man just buy a record player and some mid-way decent speakers, I did. Matter of fact you can even hook up your computer speakers to it if they have a nice sub. It shouldn't cost you more than $100.00. For the longest time I held out on it, I'm tellning you, IT'S SO WORTH IT! Buy a record player off ebay, I got mine from an ebay store and it's got a little bass boost feature, and it's got audio ripping, so I can rip my vinyls, and its got loads of features, only cost me $70.00 (USD not British Pounds) so it's completely worth it my friend, do it. Plus I've now fallen in love with records man, they just feel so great to hold in your hands.bassin y0 FACE wrote:i want this but i dont have anything to play it on![]()

it seems like when a record has been signed, announced, and scheduled for release, there's always a delay, sometimes a few weeks and sometimes months. it is always a setup for disappointment. to me it seems mala doesn't want to announce things until the artwork and TPs are approved. which i appreciate, instead of waiting 5 months because of pressing issues it shows up on online shops a week before official release instead of sitting as a preorder for months.Devry[Kaneda] wrote:
Also, was horrid henry/education's release this low-key too?
I don't remember.
i think it's better like that, really nice suprise when it just turns up. like with the burial release everyone got the idea that it was gonna be out in january and now im pretty disappointed that it wont besouth3rn wrote:it seems like when a record has been signed, announced, and scheduled for release, there's always a delay, sometimes a few weeks and sometimes months. it is always a setup for disappointment. to me it seems mala doesn't want to announce things until the artwork and TPs are approved. which i appreciate, instead of waiting 5 months because of pressing issues it shows up on online shops a week before official release instead of sitting as a preorder for months.Devry[Kaneda] wrote:

but i do remember education/horrid henry just kind of showing up one day.
Any random thrift shop usually has an old combo turntable with speakers and tuner for less than thirty dollars. That's how I listened to all my punk records growing up. Add a slipmat and a new needle to make it more record friendly.smokeybeenz wrote:This, its really easier than some people think, there is soem dirt cheap record players that are perfect just for listeningCornbreadddd wrote:Man just buy a record player and some mid-way decent speakers, I did.
