I know that Adventure Club uses FM8 for all of their signature basses, but that's all this noob's got hahahaLaughAttack wrote:

To get that wibbly sound you need to turn up the resonance on your frequency cutoff for the LFO filter.RARRR_ wrote:accidentally stumbled across this kinda sound with massive a few days ago but didnt save anything and cant remember what i did
was wondering how you most people would try get a nice werp werp waterdrop/frog type of vocal bass sound happening like in
Its a bit more than just that...Let me direct you to a few threads dedicated to making these sorts of sounds http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=233610, http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=225353Malleus wrote:To get that wibbly sound you need to turn up the resonance on your frequency cutoff for the LFO filter.RARRR_ wrote:accidentally stumbled across this kinda sound with massive a few days ago but didnt save anything and cant remember what i did

My first guess is actually to take a dub siren and make it go down in pitch really fast. like 2-3 octaves really fast. If you don't want to do that, just play around with basic waveforms and make them go down in pitch the same wayJTMMusicuk wrote:anyone?JTMMusicuk wrote:

if its that simple i am going to kill myselfblinkesko wrote:My first guess is actually to take a dub siren and make it go down in pitch really fast. like 2-3 octaves really fast. Another thing to remember is the type and position of the LFO curve. A reverse slope will send the signal backwards giving it a bubbly feel as well. I use Reason so I'm unfamiliar with the way Massive uses these components but play with the curves and amount of LFO effecting the filter.Earjax wrote:Its a bit more than just that...Let me direct you to a few threads dedicated to making these sorts of sounds http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=233610, http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=225353Malleus wrote:To get that wibbly sound you need to turn up the resonance on your frequency cutoff for the LFO filter.RARRR_ wrote:accidentally stumbled across this kinda sound with massive a few days ago but didnt save anything and cant remember what i did

Have a play around with the bandpass filter with high resonance and also the duck organ waveform, play with its wt position
Do you know how to make 16 bit's main bass from boston cream in massive?Fowles wrote:thanks dude, this works.
I actually managed to figure out the main wobble in 16 bit's surge remix, through making an 808 in massive, distorting, and adding a little phase with an LFO. I think 16 bit uses this sound a lot, like in their song dinosaurs.
If anyone wants more detailed instructions, let me know.
