also wanna give war from a harlots mouth from germany a mention too, sick band and really safe guys, the drummer is a fucking beast too
Oh god too much fun has been had with that video. And, one of my ex gfs really liked that band. They have that song with the AK-47 breakdown. If you want to abuse us for something...... I forgot the rest lol.
I'm pretty depressed i missed despised icon before they disbanded. It would've been beyond glorious.

Their old stuff isn't terrible. Jonathan Davis has turned into a little tnuc true, but they did have some real heavy riffs on their first album(? The one with the girl in the swingset on it)

Just because it's "real heavy", doesn't mean it's good.

The breakdown on "Freak On A Leash" is heavy, and I like it, but Korn and all nu metal is shit.

I don't get how someone who knows how diverse a genre could be (Dubstep for example, and i'm not talking about bro), could just pigeonhole an entire genre because of a few clowns. And it's not even like i go around blasting shitknot or whatever.

Theres two types of people in this world: people who listened to Linkin Park when they were in middle school, and filthy fucking liars.
**That being said, they and all other nu metal is still shit.

Sure, as soon as i get home.
And Particle-Jim, me too. I used to love Shitknot, all day evey day. Haha. Good things i discovered some new music.
So, this might make me seem like a dick, but this kid was deaf, then got a cocular thing. He discovered the glory of music, and started listening to all of it. Come back three weeks later and his favorite band is Disturbed. How do you go from not being able to hear, to Disturbed being what you want to hear all the time.

Korn's first two albums wouldn't be so bad if they had a different singer.
Nu metal on the whole was metal's equivalent to brostep though
and I briefly listened to Linkin Park through people I know liking them but quickly realised they were fucking terrible before I bought any of their stuff.
