seriously, what are you guys talking about?!
i was obviously referring to that "all of a sudden on deep medi 12" part, as i don't understand what that has to do with dmz007 and not buying it for 80 pounds.

"All Of A Sudden" sounds enough like "Haunted" for me to hold back forking out £80 on DMZ007 when I already have "Anti-War Dub".

ight, thanks for explaining. can't say i'd agree on "all of a sudden" being a worthy substitute for "haunted", but fair enough...

How does it NOT sound like "Haunted"?

I'm just saying, the difference isn't enough for me to justify sinking £80 on it

Prefer "All Of A Sudden" anyway!

The saddest moment for me is reading this thread and realizing how much I missed out on dubstep.

a thousand times this

if it aint ruff it aint right

its like old skream tunes that have got the sub as almost the loudest thing in the mix. its sick.
You mean the sub isnt meant to be the loudest thing in the mix? :6:

you can take this as you want..

the moment it went from a genre that was most commonly mixed on vinyl to the moment it moved to CD's/Digital

not the saddest moment, and there is still plenty of people using turntables, but the exposure of turntables is lower.. (i imagine there is actually more people using turntables now/past 2-3 years, but with less exposure)

i was mucking around on the turntables today, recorded about 20 minutes of mixing.. the satisfaction of a 100% vinyl mix sounding good, it's something special.

I agree with bluey's thing about satisfaction - it's wayyyy more satisfying to mix on vinyl

I would start buying vinyl otherwise you will miss out on great tunes or be forced to pay stupidly high discogs prices.

Have you already got CDJ's? Get a vinyl turntable and use it alongside the CDs, that's what I did for ages while I built up my record collection!

Buy all the vinyl you can afford
and some that you can't afford

I may sell one of my CDJs so I can get better turntables - I'm not using serato though, so I'm keeping one cdj so I can play my own shit/other stuff I don't have on vinyl.

The moment I realized that Mala & Coki release their solo stuff as Digital Mystikz and didn't actually sit in the studio together making all these classic :( hurt me a little lol

Don't waste your money on CDJ's just jump straight into vinyls, i have seen a pair of technic 1200MK2's for £200 at a second hard store.
