I'm pretty sure most people base how they feel about a piece of music on THE MUSIC, and then base how they feel about a person on THE PERSON. You make it seem like it's genuinely impossible to discern the difference. Give people a little credit.
I'm sure there are also people out there who dislike the way he acts but like his tunes, or dislike his tunes and like the way he acts, etc.

Not what I meant. GG's music is god because he was a total fucking lunatic asshole. His degenerate life style is also what his music is. It's not because he has this image that people think is cool that makes think the music is cool but actually that GG's music was enjoyable because of who he was as his lifestyle and personality is the content of the music.

To bring this nicely back with a Nina reference, look at Ben Klock...that Boiler Room parody video with him playing shit blip blop tunes to a crowd of sheep, then playing the music from Grandstand. So what did he do? Played the fucking music from Grandstand at his next gig. Can't ever see Compa dropping It's Raining Menz in jest.

In his defence here, he's well aware of the stick he gets, and from what I see on facebook, it's usually the same characters trolling him (dunno if that applied to Johney). I'd start blocking people too if I was constantly having to deal with them, especially as he seems like one of the bigger name producers that chat to fans regularly.
