My only advice would be to keep away from doing anything that would unnecessarily alienate some people. Genre specific is all well and good, unless you don't like the genre that's chosen.

If there's as many as there was this time, I doubt anyone would have time to listen to them all. Going by that time it would be around like ~16 hours you'd need to listen to them all compared with the hour or so this took.

well yeah, that's why i said keep voting open for longer. like 2-3 weeks
+ doubt there's gonna be that many guys involved via time constraints

If you're looking for suggestions, my idea was "After The Afterparty", thought it might fit the ~10 minute restriction quite well, keeps it fairly vague as well, can be any genre really, all depending on what you'd wanna chill to, open to experimentation, etc. as imo the mixing wouldn't have to be so rigid.

Just a suggestion though, I'll be in for the next one, no matter how crap I'd do on it.

a few theme suggestions:

"mix for a wedding"
"you do the mixing, but your missus/your mum/your uncle does the selection"
"only mix tunes from a single record label" (might be too restrictive though?)
