Australian immigration policy is informed by racist ideologies. i wrote an essay on it last year as part of my degree
this is the racial ideology its based on
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Australia_policy
its pretty much borderline what you can get away with without being racist
Australia's a great place to demonstrate that Nationalism is usually thinly-veiled racism... their native "Abos" are often treated even worse than those having to cross a border. It's a beautifully pure demonstration of the utter bullshit behind sentiments like "Britain for the British". If there were still British people in Britain (hint: there haven't been for well over 1000 years), the Daily Mail would most likely be accusing them of being hopeless, thieving simpletons who need to be kept in controlled populations on the edge of real civilisation.

get to fuck should we give first refusal of jobs and housing to nationals. thats fucking stupid. some fucking bullshit positive discrimination crap. employ the best person for the job.
As for housing, yeah put homeless people on the streets so the single mum who has to live with her parents can have a house of her own. (yes this is a bullshit stereotype of who gets housing benefits but all of Jaydots posts talk about fresh off the boat, poorly educated and "out for anything they can get benefit wise" foreigners and i figured i can also stereotype)

As i said earlier jaydot.
the problem is lack of housing etc. not immigration
build more housing, schools, create more jobs then immigration is no longer a problem

Where do you build these new houses? Green belt land? Expand exisiting towns and cities? so called "new cities" like Milton Keynes and Welwyn Garden City...where are the funds coming from to build the new houses/how long will it take til we have adequate housing/who gets first refusal/do we mix migrants with British?

Train British youngsters to do manual labour/factory work etc/create more apprenticeships for the brighter=no need to employ a foreigner.

Have you any idea how much unoccupied housing there is? Any idea how much brown belt land?
Would you keep migrants and domestic workers separate, how do you expect to be able to do this? Would there be places where migrants can live in Jaydotland or would they all be fucked out.

Bank of England have a big printer.
I assume you're hinting at taxes but that is a complete bullshit myth that Government spending is funded by taxes. Its part of their income but if the government wanted to fund a huge housing project they can, extremely easily.

If nothing else you have to give UKIP credit for getting people thinking about politics.

itd be better if you reply to my previous post whihc is more articulate. but yeah new towns, and expanding existing cities. but there are also so many empty home homes in london and so many huge building projects under development which contain very little affordable housing e.g. heygate estate in s.london being pulled down and less affordable hommes being built in its place and more luxury appartments.
rather than increasing the defense budget by 30 bill why not use that money to build more homes and schools (also creating new jobs).then we wouldn't have to make another group feel like 2nd class citizens by introducing 5yr policies etc.

Would you rather see immigrant-only ghettos created where British people don't want to live? The suburbs are going to be delightful under UKIP!
Its like that already, just in smaller area's at the moment and if lumping them together will create instant ghettos and horrible areas then its down to the people we are allowing into our country.
edit: also that photo wub posted a good few photos back is a fuck load of bullshit. companies will pay as little as possible for the work they need doing. it took me two years to get my minimum wage job, i have my gcse's i went to college for neigh on 5 years.

If you know tell me, in 2010 it was half a million. In any case people coming here to work creates a demand for housing which in turn encourages supply which in turn requires people to build the fucking things.
So I don't think you do know.

Why should we force businesses to employ worse people? companies make money, dont hand out jobs. If a brit has a good work ethic and looks for jobs, they can find work. It may not be their ideal job, but you can find work.
You presume that companies are only trying to recruit foreigners. In manual labour jobs the salaries are stated on the application so they don't get foreigners for cheaper, so why are more being employed? maybe it's because eastern europeans are applying to more jobs because they want to get one, maybe its because brits don't want to do the jobs that foreigners are applying to, maybe foreigners are better than brits. Who can tell.

I suppose in a way, although at least UKIP are proposing ideas and policies that people think about and can decide their view on, instead of just going 'politicians are bad lol we need a revolution'.
