@deafblindmusic- everything comes into play beautifully during the intro ; the pads had already given me that moody vibe i love so much; some dark shit here.. that fuckin droppp mannn yesss; this is gooooood shit bro; i really like the synth work; definite skills here; i can tell yu got very detailed with this; 3rd drop is sex!

@lucaskane - ok, piano more front and center now, now add some verb and a little delay, roll some off the top end and it'll be perfect. Add some more high end phrases on the piano too and you have it done.

Think I found someone who loves pianos as much as me haha!, ah good idea with the high end phrases will add some complexity to the piano. Big ups will start first thing in the morning.

Not too sure on the tune as a whole, the hats make it sound kind of DnB'ish if thats what you was going for? gotta say the tune in your sig is BIG though.

Hehe, yeah, definitely, umm, check this sketch I did. I recorded my piano on my iPhone of all things and just dumped it into a track to see what happened. First dub-step track ever actually. Please excuse the mixdown (it never got one)

Wow, erm thanks! I seriously didn't know if anyone else would dig it, as it seems very different from everything else I hear.

I like the lyrical content on the WIP, but honestly I think you need to focus a little on the bassline and I like the fierce hats myself (then again I'm a dnb head )

And with that, here's another WIP that was never really finished/mixed/mastered, for added bonus, it has a sample of Sarah Palin inhaling breath thousands of times, hence the title:

Hello everyone!
Just started on this today.
I decided to try and create a "drumstep" tune. Let me know how it sounds on your setup.
For some reason the levels of the various synths sound different ounce I bounce the master to a wav from ableton.
Anyone know how to fix that?
I also settled on my production name, Second Nature.
Let me know what you think.

It sounds nice, but in my opinion it would sound nicer if you put some nice quick hihats in there so you get some sort of energy rush! and use a modulated bassline or something so you get like ''wooooooooooob WOB'' 1 bassline on the last 1 or 2 bars that kicks you in the face! : ]

@blakedipp: I always thought Drumstep was faster, but I'm also not an expert on this. I agree with ZuentanamoC about the hihats. I like the snare you're using but the kick could maybe need some more punch.

@deafblindmusic: "Breath Of The Beast" is great, I love breath samples! And your percussion work is amazing. After multiple listens I still can't find anything in your tune that I would change.
The bits-and-pieces thing with your piano in is also big!

@therebel730: Not really my cup of tea, but I like the vocals, could be a bit more in the foreground though. The switch-up to the dnb-beat is smooth.

Here's my latest WIP (and also one of my first tries), it's not dubstep but more on the house/techno-edge. I would be glad for some feedback because I've got a lot to learn.

@ZuentanamoC, @therebel730, @dramax - Thanks guys, guess I'll go back and properly mix it down, after I fix the VST screw up's I encountered when trying to re-load it a few weeks back, sometimes I hate Cubase with a vengeance.
