yeah man everybody is welcome
last couple of weeks me and defaultuzr had the pleasure to run it so if you got something ready for this week i can def sneak it in
nowaysj wrote:The more the merrier.
Defualt's track is missing this week, so submissions I think are still open, so if you have a track, pm a link to the soundcloud to that auftwaffle guy, the guy with the four eyed cat avatar. I'm not TUNA!MASTER this week, he is, it is his discretion, but I bet he'd post it up.
CHEERS
you made me sound even wierder than i think i am haha
and yeah defaultuzr actually sended me two i just edited the tuna this time no repost
Great Stuff. I haven't got anything this week, but I've already started working on something for next week. Saturday you say? Not a problem. I really like the idea of banging a tune a week out. I've really needed a reason to step my game up recently, things have been slow for a while
Looking forward to it! And I'll still get on criting this weeks tunes.

in general you dont have to do a really new tune every week we had some rearrangent or back from the grave of the hdd stuff for sure.
basically just what you have done musically over the week.
and we got some nice remixes out of some tuna tunes over time
so if you like sth at some point i think most of the guys are open for remixes and collabos

also where's mason? banned again?
my feedback for this week:
@Bud
evergreen trap: liking this, it's just enough trap for me to appreciate. Not too sure about your main snare? Sounds a bit too generic imo. Also i feel your hats could sound a bit more defined, maybe with a transient shaper or something? Or take a whole different hihat sample
i guess it could be longer too, but i assume this is WIP
singingmogrys: this one's sick. Wasn't convinced by the acid-ish line in the beginning but it grew on me. Maybe the vocal stabs could be less present, like not have them for a section possibly?
Melodram: i feel the vocal could be more audible during the intro, its fine to have it all glitchy when the main section starts. Melody is on point too, reminds me of mike paradinas stuff. This one would make a good intro/outro/interlude i guess
raumdienst: liking the sonic textures in this one, also what you did with the trumpet sample, this one's definitely worth finishing, make it longer, structure it a bit more, just your typical intro/first section/breakdown/second section/outro formula and you got a dancefloor shaker imo
@nowaysj: wish there was a slightly longer intro before getting into the core of the tune. Not sure about the timbre of that square-ish synth in the beginning, maybe it detracts too much from the softer vibes that the other elements give off. Liking the flute and vocal samples in the main section a lot, works really well with the oriental strings. Actually another one for which i wouldn't mind having a go at the stems

I'm working on something, killing two birds with one stone. I'm in this fourtrack group over on gearslutz, we send around tapes and record a track each to the four track cassette. The person that does the last track gets to mix the song.
I've been seriously tardy with my four tracks, big surprises, right, so my TUNA! is a fourtrack that I've taken some liberties with. Ch'yeah? CH'YEAH!

Feel you bruv, can you adopt a different work ethic, different song style, composition style? Something that could be made in like 4 15 minute sessions? Something on your phone or a tablet?
I feel you though.

Yeah maybe, just the tiredness thing from working to many hours kills the creativity bug.Can still get things down quick, its just elaborating on them thats the problem. If anything it was the tuna week thread that helped me really nail finishing tracks so why the fuck not get amongst it again
