All going to plan in the AFC so far.

Steelers beat Bengals meaning Colts play Bengals, and don't get dickslapped by the Steelers again
Ravens beat Steelers, meaning they play NE
Colts beat Bengals meaning they play Denver

I think the Colts can beat Denver, but I don't think we can beat NE, but that's ok, because I think the Ravens can, and I think the Colts can beat the Ravens.

On to Denver

I somehow forget it, but every time the Colts play the Pats, I'm reminded of how fucking awful, arrogant and so, so biased the Boston sports media is. Fuck the Pats.

how are you in tune to boston sports media? Most of the local sports guys here were shitting their pants for the ravens game.

You know the site Newsnow? Just a news site aggregator for various topics, whenever Pats games roll around, the Colts newsnow site obviously has stuff from Boston media on there, some of the stuff compared to other markets is just absurd. You'd think the Pats win every game in a blowout the way a lot of these guys go on.

If any of the stuff you come across is written by Dan Shaughnessy immediately discredit it. He's the fucking worst writer in Boston and is so out of touch its crazy

yeah i just took a look at that Newsnow thing for the colt. ESPN Boston and The Boston Globe will be your best places to get the actual feeling in boston. The Herald is a right wing rag that thinks Bob Kraft shits ice cream and bleacher report.....well its bleacher report.

It's like, whenever we're playing anyone else, the analysts seem to actually have a feel for things as they are now, are a little more impartial, look at things from both ways. Pretty much everything I've read this week from Boston media has been "we beat them before, nothing has changed, we'll walk over them again". Might well do, just seems a little lazy and unprofessional.

Yeah but at that same time, Since 2000 there hasn't been a City that has dominated sports like Boston has. 3 Super bowls (with i think 2 more SB appearances), 3 World Series, A Stanley Cup (and another appearance), and an NBA Finals (and another appearance)

Sprinkle in the fact that pretty much all our team always make the playoffs, Its not hard too see why Boston sports writers are so arrogant.

Don't read too much about the other sports, but there's plenty of other NFL teams on a similar level of talent (basically always make the playoffs, have been in multiple superbowls, multiple pro-bowlers, etc.) that don't have that sort of reporting. Dunno, just winds me up whenever I see it, very lazy.

Yeah, some oddness around this case too. Apparently, when the police arrived he presented a load of stuff to them, stuff that could be seen as evidence. Whether this was meant to prove his innocence or help out the police and try for a plea deal, I'm not sure. Odd though.
