I should have a tune. I know I've gotta stop, but I just can't. Have two boxes of cables, probably around 40 pounds each. Just cables.

Damn I haven't posted here in awhile. I sent (who I assume to be the one they once called budspencertron) a tune earlier, I'm pretty proud of it so far. It's pretty close to being finished. I've been listening to a lot of older shlohmo stuff lately and I think it's kind of rubbing of on me.

The artist formerly known as Budspencertron, nice ring to that.

Uhm, what do you mean older Shlohmo stuff? If its what I think it is, yeah, really amazing ear.

Yeah, I guess "older" is kind of decieving since it' from like 09? "Shlo-fi" and "places" are two albums of his that have been on repeat for like two weeks. "Camping" is my favorite album of his though.

yilan lata

maybe you could layer an oldschool techno house sound on top of the bassline at some point
like the loopy sample :4:
maybe a part like the outro earlier sampleless part or lowpass filter or sth on the vocal loop

defaultuzr annpeebles
wierd haha but has something nice groove sounds like a chimp
haah the ending yeah amybe bring this vocal earlier too?

cc74 panic flute
like the full beat
nice wierd space hah like the flute, unexpected(not really but yeah) but fits
yeah one of your most listenable i would say bit idm bit la beat? still not sure if thats a genre
wouldnt actually change anything def a saver :W:

my feedback for last week's tuna (will do this week later :():

YILAN> liking how you used that asian(?) vocal sample. the atmospheric panned drums are ace, though i feel there could be more surprise variations/incidentals, or maybe not... overall i feel like its lacking an extra element to keep it interesting? maybe bring in some pads or an additionnal synth in the second part, or mess up with that vocal sample a bit more?

Bud> Agree with Yilan's comment, you have the makings of some good techno here, but you need to structure it into a 5-6 min long piece. the switch up at 1:30 is great too! just wish the buildup towards the "2nd drop" when the atmos comes back was longer. as i said, sounds like you have all the ingredients already, i'd just suggest working on your arrangement.

nowaysj> cant stop wont stop, can you? please keep on not quitting tuna your current output is fresh :D liking the glitchy atmosphere on this one, though i feel the beat could be more LA like, unquantised, maybe a more stripped down of what you already have with some weird incidentals here and there?

ok :z:
DEfaultoil
maybe i dunno i would start with the vocal sample like shorten the intro or maybe dif beatless?
more ambience like cause the highpart is when the nice country comes in but than again it goes back to the beat that we heard before so jsut introducing it might take away something
again i would say more vocal pieces played out some words

Zhose eyes
really nice build up smooth
nice bassline feels like a session :w:
nice placement of elements maybe bit too define like i know that this sits here and this is ther dunno haha maybe bit more gripping into each other but its def clear
i guess the term is soothing bring me into a calm mindset dunno maybe if oyu want make all the sounds bitmore analogue bit more warm some tube on some of the sounds but besides that really nice one
:i:

thispegacucisinnowayjust74yearsold
ahah you guys you all should collabo mean it i n agood way lots of broken beats i hear here feel like the wierd one amongst you guys and in general haha :corntard:
but yeah sounds good so far wierd but keeps me listening
dunno tuff call maybe a dif element is appropriate
yeah def bring this horn?! and synth melody earlier jsut abit
and this break dunno distracts me play it through atleast one of the new elements
but again very listenable keep this vibe up :corndance: :Q:
