Southwark Social Services being incredibly reckless with the safety of one of their young people who is placed through my company. Basically this kid trashed his flat completely so it's unsafe to live in now anyway purely due to sanitary reasons, then we get a phonecall from the letting agent saying the landlord is threating to come round with his mates and some of the neighbours to beat the shit out of this kid and that we need to get him out of there ASAP and move him somewhere safe... Southwark social services spent most of the day telling us that he is to stay where he is and that he should not be moved into temporary accomodation, then they tried to deny that we informed them that he is at risk and tried to blame us for the situation when they are the ones being obstructive and potentially putting this kid in a lot of danger by refusing to move him somewhere safe, the only reason not to move him is because it is more paperwork for them to do... and whilst i've been typing this i've received another snotty email from them again trying to pin this on us when we are the ones actively trying to ensure this kids safety, anyway we've finially managed to get them to agree to let us move this kid after spending near enough my entire working day on it

I'm so fucking furious, it's almost as if local authorities/council officials don't actually care about young people in social care... oh wait

@Sonika I think it's a pretty safe fact that for every year of your life until you're about thirty, late twenties maybe, (guessing here as I've still got a way to go until I'm that old) you will look back on yourself the year before and not believe how stupid some of your beliefs and ideas were. Nothing against some light recreational drug use at 14 but claiming your core philosophies/values as absolute is pretty stupid IMO.

Literally the only thing i see on this forum any more is people moaning about sonika

Fucking scared me first time, I was at a house party and just smoked some "super imported kush" or some shit (you know how dealers dress it up as top-tier) it was good though, smoked a dub before the party with some kids from school, and was a 40 and 5 shots deep and I was fucked. I walked outside of the house and just layed down, pale white and sweating buckets. We drove to McDonald's for some burgers, and when we got out of the car, I smoked half a cig in one drag and choked so hard I eventually vomited in the parking lot. Felt better after I ate though, but goddamn greening out is terrifying.
If you've ever smoked spice (fake weed, don't know how popular it is in UK, it got popular around here for a bit) you WILL freak out. I fucking puked on my shoes and got so fucking itchy, freezing cold and sweating my balls off. Never smoke that shit anymore.

I've been listening to a lot of "indie" music lately. Lots of psychedelic rock and whatnot. It's kind of pissing me off, because I just haven't been in the mood to blast out subs deep to some hard DnB lately. Blah.

I love the music, it's just I'd much rather brock out in my room than sit and listen to MGMT and read Homer. Which is what I'm doing in 10 minutes.
