That's a lie, I always allow sufficient time on my journeys to allow for that kind of delay.

I don't think your employer is really concerned about you being 15 minutes late or not.
He's probably more concerned about all the funny pictures your posting on DSF whilst you should be crunching those numbers

I doubt my employer gives a flying fuck what I do whilst I'm at work as long as the end result is making the people above me in the food chain their money

They probably would've said something by now if they did.
