I disagree. SWIM thought it was just like really good coke mixed with really good speed. But as I said, that's snorted, rather than the lame method of smoking it.

I guess this was particularly a documentary on Fresno's own problems with it, rather than a documentary on the drug itself... but you're right, there seemed to be no other reasons for people getting into it represented other than they had bad shit to forget about... that creates drug addicts the world over and across all sorts of substances... it's not the drug that creates those people in the first place. Would've been interesting to see some genuine recreational users as a comparison... they must exist!

Does anyone else think they just sort of have loads of reactions shots of him looking solemn now.

Bring back the fun stuff Louis... Theres plenty of nutters out there you can go ask naeive questions to.

"I was beginning to like ORTHOR THE DESTROYER but I was wondering if our differing opinions on the rape and murder of all first borns would become a barrier between us in the coming weeks"

louis is a badman, when they were outside smoking i was just waiting for him to be all like "oi lemme hit that", was sorely disappointed tbh.

a couple of my mates tried crystal meth while they were travelling, one of them said it was like an orgasm all over his body, he then ended up having sex with some girl on the beach, so then i think he probably had an orgasm all over his dick, he then got arrested by the police and had to bribe them £400 to not get put in prison for a bit, he's never been able to enjoy "sex on the beach" by the vengaboys again :(

i've got minimal sympathy for junkies, but that's just a bare silly thing to say.

A) its HIGHLY addictive
B) it feels good

a+b= its not going to be easy to give up.

i've not done meth but i've heard dark things about it. if its anywhere near as hard to give up as tobacco, then if you want to stop its going to be fuckin' difficult mate!

I saw this , and it was ok. What struck me was that all the people interviewed started off "yeah, I can deal with it, everythings cool", giggling and whatever, and by the time Louis had finished probing they were in tears.

Secondly - everyone on the programme was white. Struck me as being sorta odd. I don't know Fresno, but is this just a white problem? All those old heads with a face like an unmade bed and teeth shot to hell was enough to put me off.

By way of contrast, I read a lenghthy article in a newspaper today about gun crime in South Chicago. If any Yank wants to pull me up about my statistics - feel free. 13 Servicemen from that locality have been killed over the last 18 months in Iraq/Afghanistan. Meanwhile over 600 kids (under eighteen) have been shot - wounded or worse - from the same area. Over 100 shot dead in the last year.

da yout 'dem - whappen?

All (or 99% of them) were black. Obama seems to have gone AWOL on the subject. Strange, as all this is going on a few miles from his home.

It all gets me down, it really does. If you think you're having a hard time in Salford, Croydon, St Annes, Harehills, Handsworth, or wherever - just think. It could be a lot worse.

Louis should do a documentary on ketamine. I'd love to see him do interviews at Plastic People.
