ahh the hassle of vinyl pressing plants waited nearly 4months to get our vinyl back all the plants are as bad as each other went to about 3 different plants and its really put me off trying to release vinyl digital and cd albums are they the future now ?
Plastician wrote:its not that its more difficult really i think its just the fact you have to wait on so many people to get a release out. digitally i can just put them out as soon as i have mastered them.

ahhh bigup plastic!
was thinking last night how there has been so little coming from you recently then i remembered the hassle you had getting beg to differ out, kept getting pushed further and further back....anyways this is definitly a step in the right direction, it'll be sad not to get some of these on vinyl but at least the tunes will be there

wicked wicked news, missing is an all time favourite + digital release is like a dream come true.
Is the label going to be purely for your own releases or are you planning on releasing other stuff?

No we've got 3 releases already sorted.
2 are completely ready, the om unit one we're still waiting on artwork guy to pull his finger out.
once that artwork is done we'll send all the lacquers and artwork to pressing.
we're going to move to a new pressing plant too though which is probably going to push things back slightly.
The reason I am putting these out digitally as opposed to Terrorhythm is that by the time I get them all out, they'll be way too old and they're long overdue already. And like I said I can't be arsed with telling people "they're coming soon" when I'm waiting 4 weeks for artwork, waiting a week for a mastering session etc. etc.
I'm 100% proud of every release we put out on Terrorhythm and will continue to release what I believe to be good music

Once again Terrorhythm is not being put on the back burner for this digital label.
It's taken me like 5 or 6 hours to do EVERYTHING that needs to be donw for the digi releases up to february next year. I've even uploaded the files to the websites with their release dates on them.
Terrorhythm takes a lot of time and effort whereas once the tracks are mastered, they are ready for digital instantly.
Just going to use this as an outlet to release the backlog of Plastician tracks that never came out.
If they sell well enough maybe a few of them will see vinyl but only a white label. Again, I'm done with running my record labels on other people's watches.

Plastician wrote:hahaha!! I'm just done with other people's longness making me look unprofessional
and labels can still be long at times with digital releases too, think its just something about labels and being long that go together strangely
