fabric is wank, full stop. The soundsystem is not large, some hyped up mid range bass shit and it is like the fucking tescos of clubbing. But still, saying that - if dubstep is getting air at these kind of £12 a go events then bless, still...wanna see virus & mrk1 and line up looks seriously Large but not sure if im gonna pay to go to that shithole. i swear last time i was there there was no one older than 16, still

doLLy wrote:That would be wise! If you've been to Fabric before you know the drill..If you aint you should get to the actual club as early as you can, the queue is RIDICULOUS for that place! It would be wrong for you to travel down - on your birthday - then be waiting hours to get in, or possibly not even get in at all! Obviously would be a right touch if you could sort guestlist for you and your pals...if you cant, i would advise you buy tickets beforehand as there is a seperate queue for that!
Cheers for the advice! I'll sort something out beforehand f'sure...
The question is 'if i sort myself a guestlist, but can't sort all my friends a guestlist, then should i leave em to the queue outside while i bruckout inside???'...

i'm seriously tempted to go...never been to fabric but i can't help thinking people knock it too much...i mean you're not complaining about THAT much if its still got a BIG soundsystem, regardless of clarity and stuff ...and HUGE line ups... i mean thats the essentials - have u forgotten what parties are about?
'the tesco of clubbing' is just going too far, even if i haven't been there...there's places like Pacha etc to take that accolade ffs

Generally speaking I find there's a bit of a lack of vibes at Fabric, a lot of people go who aren't massively into the music. I know this makes me sound like a snob but I don't feel you get quite the same sense of community and excitement as you do at more specialist clubs.
Actually though, given the strength of the dubstep community perhaps this night will be different.
