i think NilsFG is pointing out that dub and dubstep is two different genres

none of the guys you mentioned are dub
they make dubstep
dub is pablo, scientist, tubby, sly & robbie, lee perry etc

honestly too many people need education in what is dub. too many people involved in dance music have no idea where this whole thing came from.
i've just seen twinkle brothers, iration steppas, o.b.f., mungo's hifi, jahtari, zion train and gentleman's dub club all in one weekend and not once felt the need to check out the dubstep room while any of this was going on. What has 1/8t low-pass filter oscillation got to do with dub anyway?

they put out a clouds tune didn't they?
awesome tune but not technically dub
that lineup sounds awesome though...the dub i like is all old stuff

the lineup was outlook festival in croatia. yeah jahtari put out a few dubstep things but mostly digidub. check out disrupt's album 'foundation bit' it's like scientist if he was exclusively using gameboys and film samples
