This. Too many 'and here comes the punchline...' moments, but still the best thing on (well, anything with David Mitchell really.)

I dunno,

I think season 4 was excellent. The last episode where he gets married was absolutely hillarious.

Mark: "Well you'll just have to piss yourself".
J: "You're asking me to piss myself? Is this what its come down to mark? And what should I do after I've pissed myself? Fuck myself? Eat myself?"

They should have ended it at 4, was a great place to end. I can't believe they're doing 8 seasons, it's gonna slowly deteriorate.

Got round to this last night. Good, but it's definitely gone off a bit in the last series or so. I love the idea of Mark as the awkward working class champion though!
