I'm gonna listen to that remix today. ..I have not heard that

but up until LA EP 3X3 I havent heard shit from him himself that I'd call dubstep, except for heavy bass (which may be all that's needed really). Nor have I looked on his myspace recently and listened to some of the beats he has on there.

I know brainfeeder and other dubstep artists/labels are affiliated, and they spin dubstep (wasnt he even at one of the dubwars?)....

whatever, not that important really. it's not a "Fly Lo is absolutely not dustep!!!!" argument I'm trying to make here, just wondering

in NYC alone we've got myself and the rest of Sub Swara, Dave Q, Alex Incyde, Secret Agent Gel, Hellfire, Overcast Radio, Falty DL, the T&B crew, Subatomic Sound System (who just did a dubstep 12" w/ Lee Perry), and we kinda have Moldy by proxy.

there is a very large contingent of intensely talented folks over here.

get over to the west coast and good lord, you can't throw a stone w/o hitting a producer w/ some serious weight. Kush Arora, DJ G, DZ (canuck or not), Spit Bros, the whole LA scene...
