yeah im in raleigh now.... ive heard rumours going around of some dubstep parties but nobody seems to know anything...

Hey this is my first time on this forum, glad i found it.

I'm trying to get a Dubstep show going on a piece of land just outside of Raleigh (knightdale). I have connections with DUBNATION who does shows in Philly, New york, Detroit, and a few other places. I want to bring Dub nation to Raleigh but I need to see if we have the scene for it before we go that far. I want to meet some local Dubstep DJ's and do a show. I truly believe that we have a dub scene waiting to blow up here, I just need some very motivated people to help out.

I'm sure all of you know by now that the best dubstep WEEKLY event in the state is @ Southland Ballroom (Raleigh, NC) every wednesday. Its called Dub Sessions and is hosted by the Noisy Dubs crew. Around 300 kids rage it up every wednesday night and they do a saturday event once a month. They are also doing their night on tuesdays in Greenville, NC. I haven't been yet but I'm sure its sick as ECU is the top party school in the nation and those kids def throw down!! I live in Charlotte NC, 2 hours away from Raleigh. All the little teeny bopper hipster fucks will tell you that there is a scene and this and that. There is no fucking scene. There is no scene in america as a whole. Only wobble wobble brostep bullshit. Basschurch in Charlotte is wack as fuck and just full of mindless midrange garbage, and thats exactly what bassnectar is aswell, he recently came throough the area. If you're talking about real dubstep, original dubstep, that isnt a cheap cookie cutter form of the real deal, stay in Israel, US. doesn't know shit about dubstep.
