Overcast radio's a don, as are the Jazzsteppa crew and (wait for it) the Spit Bros. in SF.
and if we're writing about jazz and dubstep and haven't mentioned Ben Neill yet... i mean, seriously. Ben's material is just amazing.
lotta really, really talented jazzers are feeling the dubstep, finding that path that moves through acoustic tradition and electronic innovation. If you're building this sound, it's as much about the journey. respect.

Oh and, could anybody recommend any modern jazz musicians because i really love jazz but dont know da first thing about artists etc etc...
its a great type of music, no sellouts, no commercialisation...
Ive been listenin 2 the ink spots bare aswell (although they arent jazz) its the fallout 3 influence i fink..

Keep an eye out for my tune "velocity" coming out on paradise lost. Should be out by the end of this year/ early 2010. Chill, jazzy roller type tune. Been feelin that shit lately...

I've heard Jazzsteppa's stuff but hear more reggae in their music than jazz to be honest.

That's lovely. Does just sound like a load of samples though. I would totally pay a fair bit of money to hear this done live.
