chat is nearly always active, archived or live

i've found some pretty sick tracks from listening to these shows, there are a wide variety of tracks played and people normally help you out with gathering the names and what not. People are all cool as well, always willing to help out regardless of what the problem is.

dubstep.fm is pretty much the only radio station i've tuned in for more than 1 show to, catch live shows when I can or just let the archives play out, either way it's always satisfying

Depends on the time of day etc, during live shows it's popping each and every and often during archives. The chatroom is dominated by americans and canadians so time zones come in to play.

As dopelabs showed with the stats, we're number 1 for listeners without a shadow of a doubt FACT!

i didnt say anything about how much bandwidth we are pushing... video is taking up the majority of your bandwidth there.. so for sure your going to be moving more bandwidth.. but unfortunately that doesnt = more listeners in your case sorry...

besides... a video broadcast isnt internet radio.. its internet video....

and i really dont fucking care who has more listeners.. just dont try and tell me that i dont have more than everyone else when i do... lets see some server status pages guys... where are they at?

if there is a show on a dubstep internet radio station that has more listeners than dubstep.fm, please show me the stats page to your server that shows unique hosts connected.. and when i say unique i mean not 1 person connecting 100 times to bullshit the stats.

Is there really something to brag about? Anyone can make an audio stream. Video stream requires more effort. Like putting away your dirty washing so nobody can see it on camera. It's a whole different dimension.

i read through some of this.

all i can say. and my opinion totally doesnt even matter here...but i feel the need to say SOMETHING bc i do have my own opinion about it.

the chat on that site sucks. i totally hate it and has been the reason why im never in it.

the site itself...honestly a lot of good djs and producers i really appreciate and like have shows on this site-others i dont pay any attention to and cant stand. do i prefer other sites over this one? hell yeah and thats why im always on one in particular(wont mention names, but obviously...im sure most can figure it out)...but i honestly feel like a big part of why i dont support this site is because every time i hear anything about it....its all about "we have "x" listeners...." and its like. its one thing to be proud of that, but its another to "promote" or "advertise" your site by only ever mentioning how many listeners....its def like the "my dicks bigger" style of doing things.

also, i honestly dont know how many listeners you guys have...but i find it bullshit numbers. i always hear such big stats, but can you show the proof?....to squash all of this?...

i dont know anyone who tunes in to be honest....i mean. maybe they just dont tell me but any time we talk about radio shows, its from a diff site.

oh yea we do have the option to run video as well... granted its stickam and it really blows.. but none the less its video as well... and video streams are just as easy to run as audio streams... ive done everything from NSV, QTSS, windows media, real video, etc...

can you get even half of those "listeners" to vouch they actually were LISTENING?

Rinse were once limited to 150 users. I think they still are (will have to check) and Rinse are much more spectacular than Dubstep FM.

Maybe DubstepFM has these apparent high numbers because they praise Borgore.

well as the average listener time tuned in is about ~2 hours.. id say yea... they arent just tuned in and camping..

lol... keep trying to come up with excuses.. but the stats dont lie
