I know that a term takes on a life of it's own, but it started as a joke on here...and now brostep is going to be seen as a serious term the way Wonky is now a serious (and despised) term.

Brostep as a term isn't going anywhere but it is and always will be a derogatory term. No one in their right mind is going to call their own music or own label or own dj sets brostep, that is like calling yourself a douchebag. It doesn't become official until Beatport or Juno adds a tab for it imo.
