I've had the original Russian version of Solaris for the last 6 months now. I always thought LoveFilm was good value for money, but I've just realised that that film has so far cost me £60!!!

Steven soderbergh's version is better.

big fan of both versions of solaris but i've seen tarkovsky's like 3 times and have watched soderbergh's upwards of 10 times

Oh, i watched "Me and you and eveeryone we know" the other day. I really like it. I've heard it's been described as pretentious but, what ever..

It got booed off at the Sundance festival I think. As did the new Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko) one.

yeh it got absolutely slated in the press so i didnt bother, he used to be one of my favourite directors, i dont want it tarnished!

Innit. Unlike the new David Lynch one - supposed to be one of his best. Cronenberg's got a new one next year too.

Inland Empire. Same kind of idea as Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway, but even more... fucked up. Got some standing ovation at an awards ceremony I heard, man still has skills.

I heard that theres an extra on the DVD that lets you watch the movie forwards. And it makes bugger all sense.
